Leaving for new york tonight!!!!!
Term has come to an end so quickly here.... seems like just yesterday i first came to bronte and now......... 3 months later, i have already completed 3 credits and have 3 ( actually 4 ) to go. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I dunno why, it seems i don't have to put in like a lot of effort to make friends here, maybe i've changed too, become more friendly, independent, open, come out of my shell. Whatever it is, i'm soooo glaaaad i'm not stuck doing A levels in singapore....... yeeech. i
'm not doing too badly here in terms in academics..... a good confidence booster. I have absolutely 100% no regrets coming here.
It's kinda sad too cos the friends i've made here are leaving ( some) just when i've become good friends they have to go! The school is so empty now......... like 1/2 the sch has left, moved out, graduated. I suppose it happens every semester but still. i nearly cried when clement left.... and disha is leaving tonight........ I dunno if i'm going to stay here till january or june next yr, but i will keep my options open to see. I mean, i could stay here from jan-june and work i could get a job and to AP. That way, i could apply and go to university at the correct time. I dunno..... just thinking.

One minute he was laughing and smiling the next he was a whisper in the wind
I know i probably never knew him but...... it seems so sad that he is gone, i mean i always remembered him just as one of my sister's random triathlon friends yet, it seems so strange...... i can only imagine it if were one of my own riding frenz who died. It is so possible....... a simple tumble off a horse and bam ( TOUCH WOOOOD ) i know it sounds morbid.
I feel so sorry for them, how terrible it must feel....... all my prayers are with their family. Already when my own sister had collapsed and was in the hospital i could barely think straight. I know it doesn't compare at all but....
sometimes it makes u wonder if there is such thing a god. Why does he cause so much pain to so many people? Why must he take away someone so young and vibrant?

PROM ROCKED!!!!!!!!!!!1
It was a success! omg i don't know where to start!!!!
Ok ok, i'll start from the afternoon. I need to get my make-up done desperatley so i went to mac, but they were all fully booked. So i went to do my nails........ that is when i met gerald there. So after getting my nails done i decided to go to the bay to one of the make-up counters to see if anyone could give me a make-over. I was fucking desperate. Luckily the woman at Dior agreeed to. I was soooooo grateful! since gerald was there i told him to go and met the rest, gaya, prishanti, jackie and peggy at 3 like i had planned to. After the make-over, RUSHED back to school. To get jackie to do my hair, it was a mad rush to get my hair done in 45 mins!! but managed to pull it off. I think i looked good! pics coming.....
Everyone looked soooo amazing for prom! the guys all looked so suave in their suits..... the girls all beautiful in their dresses. It was like even better than prom in IJ. We spent like an hour just snapping snapping photos and oohing and ahhing and everyone. Then finally we boarded the coach bus to the prom. In the end the hall didn't look tooo bad. The decor was pretty grand although the ballroom was kinda small there was a dancefloor.
The best part was the dancing !!!!!!!!!!! it was sooooo amazingly fun! and everyone was sooo enthu about dancing!! it was indesricably fun!!!! danced with peter for a while and then duke and ameen. Later, tony ( hot korean break dancer) came up to me, i was dancin alone you see. ANd started dancing with me ( close ) omg......... and i asked him if he had a girlfriend........ he said no........ you know th rest i shall not elaborate.
Towards the end, someone plonked the king and queen crowns on Kriya and Amit, crowning them king and queen of the prom and they kissed in front of everyone! it was soooooo cute and romantic, like scene from a movie....... then the dj played MY heart will go on from titanic and all the couples swarmed the floor. Me and terry danced together. It wa such a wonderful evening..... i can't forget it.

Hello again...........
For the record this is one of the few friday nights i am actually staying in........ ahahah
I normally am out galavanting on friday nights but today i'm staying in.
Today was a half school day, we had maths ( finished the weekend hw) and for challange and change we had to lift bricks, shovel chips into buckets. I sweated for the first time in months!
Then watched the last part of O for english.
After lunch, was the summer carnival,which i atteneded with gaya DUNK TIME for teachers!!! everyone was looking forward to seeing the english teacher Mr terry get dunked ! hahah but it is actually really hard to hit the target! he was such a good sport lol!
Even the principal went in!! after that was the WATER FIGHTS!!!!!!! out come the water pistols, everyone ( ok mostly the local canadian students, some of us international students ) it was sooooo fun!!! i didn;t mind getting wet! it was just the shock of the cold water. THen ppl starting filling buckets and throwing water on ppl!!! a couple of guys threw it on the principal!! everyone cheered! it was sooo cool. Now you couldn't do that in singapore!
After that, hung out with gaya in prishanti's room. Gaya tried straightening her hair. It is curly as mine is dead straight. SHe managed too and she looked soooo different! even she was shocked. We wanted to go out for dinner, but gaya had to go back. I was a little miserable at the prospect of spending the night in. But eventually got over it.
Tmr, i'll go out, there is that pair of shoes i want...........
