Just take your time wherever you go
Hello ppl.......
Again i apologise for the abscence....... Just got back from visiting my sister in ohio, she lives out in a place called a homestead where they all live in cabins, it was an INTERESTING experience, you see this place has no electricity, it has running water but only in one cabin. Oh and there's an outhouse, it's kinda cool if you ask me and not too disgusting really it doesn;t even smell bad! I brought a sleeping bag and slept on a couch. I would admit this place isn;t for everyone.... you have to get used to having to walk at least 15 minutues to get to a shower. But they are extremely environonmentally friendly, so if you are into that sort of thing than good for you. So i followed my sister around to all her classes and daily activities around her campus, which is situated on top of a hill, the buildings are a sort of mix between old and new. The evening that i arrived my sister brought me to an art show, one of her cabinmates was showcasing his work a series of portraits. THen i was introduced to her friends, all of whom seemed quite welcoming and friendly. Since we had bought dinner at a restaurant on the way to school me and stephanie had dinner at the homestead which was a pretty delicious veggie burger. After that me and steff headed back to campus where we went to the library before she would begin her 11.3am-2am shift at the student-run cafe, yes to 2am!!! so i sat waiting for her, she gave me a free chocolate-mint milkshake which was pretty good, whilst she and the other ppl working with her laughed through a copy of cosmo magazine and served up their famous pizza bagels which was actually tastes quite good. So i actually didn't get that tired strangely! Walked back to the homestead at around 2.30am, and went to sleep, not too bad really quite comfy. Next morning, awoke at 9am and walked with my sister to campus, it was more of, get up, change and go to campus or the main cabin ( they dun really eat breakfast on weekdays i think) My sis brought me to take a shower at the sports complex, i hadnt brought my slippers and there is no changing room.... but at least i got a change of clothes, then i followed her to her first class, an environmental ethics class. SInce shes a 3rd year, i guess class sizes are smaller, there were about 20 students in the class . Her class was rather interesting though the professor was rather talkative. Following that, was her theatre class were today they were going to be reading out plays ( themed worst plays, so bad they're funny) The plays were to be read out on a stage, the playwrights cast their classmates as actors. The plays were all extremely amusing !!! one was the parody of the sisterhood of the travelling pants, to the broseffs of the travelling shirt ! my sisters' was on war, it was quite funny and ended with " This fucking rulezzz!" The following night was a friday night and there was some girl's birthday on that day, so stephanie brought me to my first college party! before that......... she and i baked muffins, we baked wholegrain maple muffins, and i have now realized that i LIKE baking !!!!!!it's soooo fun! they were completely sugar-free but had maple in them and i think we added a little too much butter....... Anyway back to the party, it was located in a girl's room in one of the rez buildings. The birthday girl was already out of it and looked half-dead on the couach. As for me and steff, we were offered wine from a whine cooler and i mixed some red and white together, it tasted not too strong...... bareable. Unfortunatley after a while i started getting a bit red.... and steff kept asking me if i was alright every 5 fricking seconds!!!!!!!!!! damn...... need to get drunk one night...... also consequwntly was the same night as the burpees 24hrs improv show night, so my sister and i went to watch it at midnight. It was FRICKING HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! have u watehed who's line is it anway? it;s like that!!!! hahahahah ZOMBIE KITTENS!!!!!!! A series of TUBES!!!!!!! " is incest right??" ahahahahahha |
